JUESAA was founded to keep alumni connected—with each other, with the Department of Environmental Sciences, and with the new generations of students who follow in our footsteps. Through reunions, professional networking, mentorship, and social initiatives, the association creates opportunities to grow together while giving back to society and the environment.

Mission

The mission of JUESAA is to:

  • Unite graduates of Environmental Sciences from Jahangirnagar University under a common platform of fellowship and collaboration.
  • Promote professional development, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities among members.
  • Contribute to national and international initiatives on environmental protection, research, and sustainable practices.
  • Support the Department of Environmental Sciences at Jahangirnagar University in academic, research, and social outreach activities.
  • Facilitate welfare, cultural, and social initiatives for members and the wider community.

Objectives

  • Networking & Fellowship – Strengthen bonds among alumni by organizing reunions, seminars, workshops, and cultural programs.
  • Knowledge Exchange – Encourage research, publications, and academic collaboration on environmental issues and sustainable solutions.
  • Professional Growth – Create platforms for career development, mentorship, and skill enhancement of alumni and current students.
  • Institutional Support – Provide academic, financial, and advisory support to Jahangirnagar University’s Environmental Sciences Department.
  • Welfare & Assistance – Establish support systems for members in times of need, including welfare funds, scholarships, and emergency aid.
  • Global Outreach – Develop partnerships with national and international organizations to enhance alumni visibility and impact.
